Through the Pies (Take two)

I did two variations of this concept, there's moments in each piece that I love. There is moody vibe in “Take one” that contributes to the concept of the little snowboarders, conceptually navigating through the storm. 

The original concept for this piece was influenced by high hilltops during sunset, where the clouds meet the sky, the surreal moment of gliding on snow, though the clouds down Through the Pines. Both pieces capture different elements of the experience. This is an example that even in the aim to re-create the concept no two pieces are ever the same.
